Scholarships
Congratulations to the recipients of the 2022 Southwest Idaho SWE Scholarships! We had 40 amazing applicants this year, and the following eight young women were selected to receive $3000 scholarships based on merit as well as their essay submission:

- Natalie Ayala was awarded the Idaho Power SWE Scholarship, from Kuna High School (Kuna) plans to study Mechanical Engineering at Boise State University
- Zaynab El Hakour was awarded the Vacasa SWE Scholarship, from Riverstone International School (Boise) plans to study Engineering through the College of Idaho Dual-Degree Cooperative Programs at either an ABET program at Washington University in St. Louis or Columbia University in New York
- Joselyn Gutierrez was awarded the SWE Scholarship, from Caldwell High School (Caldwell) plans to study Mechanical Engineering with a Bioengineering concentration at the University of Notre Dame
- Areebah Hargan was awarded the HP SWE Scholarship, from Timberline High School (Boise) plans on studying Computer Engineering and is still finalizing her school choice
- Disha Math was awarded the SWE Scholarship, from Centennial High School (Boise) plans to double major in Neuroscience and Computer Science at the University of Michigan
- Isadora Terzic was awarded the Micron SWE Scholarship, from Centennial High School (Boise) plans to Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University
- Grace Tiegs was awarded the JR Simplot Foundation SWE Scholarship, from Nezperce High School (Nezperce) plans to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Idaho
- Reganne Marie Watts was awarded the Boise Cascade SWE Scholarship, from Boise High School (Boise) plans to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan

- Read the information sheet for scholarship requirements below.
- Complete the online application form. Opens in December 2022.
- Attach your college entrance test scores and transcript to the online application.

The SW-Idaho SWE Scholarship program is made possible by generous contributions from individuals and organizations in Idaho. For a minimum donation of $3000, a scholarship may be named after you or your company. All company donors will be acknowledged on this website and social media.
